Japanese Community Youth Council (JCYC)
The Japanese Community Youth Council (JCYC) provides a wide range of activities and services through programs designed for children and youth that are cultural, educational, recreational and vocational in content. Since its founding in 1970, JCYC, a non-profit organization, has offered a diverse array of services and activities to support children, youth and families throughout San Francisco. With programs ranging from pre-school to job training, academic counseling and substance abuse prevention/intervention, JCYC has become a center of innovative programs for thousands of youth.
