Asian American Journalists Association - Los Angeles
The Asian American Journalists Association is a national, nonprofit educational and professional association that owes its founding in 1981 to the vision of a small group of Los Angeles journalists. Today, AAJA's L.A. chapter continues to promote AAJA's three-part mission:
- To encourage young Asian Pacific Americans to enter the ranks of journalism.
- To promote fair and accurate coverage of Asian Pacific Americans.
- To increase the number of Asian Pacific American journalists and news managers in the industry.
